In addition, the price of different waterproof fabrics is also different.
PVC-coated fabrics are cheaper than TPU-coated fabrics. That's because TPU is better in some properties, such as cold resistance and aging resistance
Moreover, the price of the thickness of the fabric is also different.
For example, the 1000D PVC fabric is more expensive than the 500D PVC fabric, which is because the 1000D PVC fabric is thicker and more wear-resistant.
- Look at the production process
The sewing process is the most common and is suitable for many fields of bags and clothes, while the high-frequency welding process is relatively less used and more expensive.
The biggest difference between the two bags is the waterproof performance.
As shown in the figure, the bag using the high-frequency welding process can be completely waterproof.
- Look at the zipper
Some motorcycle bags on the market use a roll-top design and some use a zipper. From the cost point of view, waterproof zipper > ordinary zipper > roll top.
A good waterproof zipper costs several times as much as a common zipper, but it's completely waterproof to keep your luggage dry.
